Have had sun all day and into the mid to high 40's all day. Over half our snow is melted. Supposed to stay above freezing all night. They say near 50 deg. F. for Sun. so we should lose a lot more snow then. Also some light rain moving in on Sun. evening!
It was nice here today, too. Sunny and 69 degrees but very windy so it feels a lot cooler. We were out in it for most of the day. Now, a nice cup of tea will be a good thing. dooley
Well rain was predicted for the whole weekend here, which proved to be wrong. Thankfully though it started to fall this morning (Sunday). It's our wet season here, but the rainfall totals have been less than impressive so far this year. We're still waiting on the heavy stuff! This morning started off with the promise of rain. The sky was covered in grey (That's actually a welcome sight here! Especially after months of the dry season.) Then the rain started falling a couple of hours ago. I love the sound of drumming rain on the corrugated iron roof. Best sound in the world for people like me who live in a place that only gets rain for a couple of months every year.
