A real tragedy that leaves two motherless children behind and also a grieving husband and family.
    RIP Margaret.

Very sad!! Many prayers for the family. Being a park ranger was one of the careers I explored, but did not want to carry a gun to do the job. I don't think most people realize just what the rangers face each day on the job.

Tragedies like this bring to light the dangerous side to being a park ranger. I doubt that will ever look at another ranger without remembering this event and the broken lives it has caused.

Even the man who did the shooting was someone's son and the responsibility of the military. The military does not do a good job of getting former members back into civilian life.
