OK, I know how to post a link to my youtube channel so that you can see a video there. But how do I work the code so that the actual video itself appears on my thread? So that you just have to click on the little arrow and it plays right there, rather than having to view it on youtube? Anyone?
Hi Ronni, If you visit the video's page on YouTube (where you actually view the video) and copy the link in your browser's address bar directly into a post here, it will automatically become an embedded video when you submit the post. The link should look like this: https:// www. youtube. com/watch?v=XXXXXXXX
Frank!! You da man!!! Thanks so much honey.....I'll try that right now. If I'm successful, there will soon be a video in the Pet section of the forum.
OK, random question....will that same approach work on other forums? Wait...I guess it depends on how it's set up, and their particular website coding, huh?
If they use the Xenforo forum software that we use then it's a big probability. Older forums will most likely not have this feature.
Putting on actual videos has been helpful because some people can view numerous pictures on the subject matter.
