    Hello all.
I have found a vine like plant that is growing all through the front of my torn up yard and was wondering what it is. If anyone knows what it may be I would appreicate it. Thanks.

I never found a name for it a couple of years ago but I do know that it will cover pretty much any thing or anyone standing still in your yard for more than a few hours.
I pull it up all over the place all the time.

I always called that bindweed. It is kind of a morning glory type of plant.

The flowers on this vine don't get as large as those on bindweed and the leaves are wider and a softer green.

It is a very lovely looking plant though (I think so) but I am assuming it is more of a weed? :?: we had to dig up our front yard because of some work that needed done on the house and this started growing in the piles of dirt and around the house. I thought it looked really nice and was thinking of digging some up and putting some around a trellis. I am really new at gardening and not too good at it yet. Do you think this is more of a weed and should try to get rid of it? Thanks for the help.

Could it be a Climbing False Buckwheat Vine?

    It may be Polygonum Scandens.

Oops sorry Netty just realised that's the Latin name for Climbing False Buckwheat Vine.
Well at least we both had the same idea and you know what they say 'Great minds think alike......' :p
