Waiting for the rufous to return

    Any day now the rufous hummingbirds will be arriving. The male comes first but I'm being polite and showing the female first.

    Such cute little birds! I can't wait to see my Hummers back this spring. We only get Ruby Throated Hummingbirds here.

    I've had the Anna's Hummingbirds to keep me happy through the winter, they stay the year round.

    I would love to have hummingbirds! But until climate change really kicks in I doubt it will ever happen...Hey ho,at least I can see their beauty in your lovely shots Kildale. :D
