Walk in the park

    Went looking for wild flowers today in a local park. not the pretty, pretty parks with cultivated lawns etc, this is on the wild side. Not a lot of species but masses of camas flowers.

    I don't like 'pretty' parks and have always found myself drawn to the natural woodlands and open spaces. You never know what you're going to find which adds to the pleasure of wild places.
    Those Camas flowers are really lovely spreading out along the sides of the pathway like that.

    Beautiful! I have a lonely one growing in my garden....Not quite the effect of 100's of them blooming at once!
