    Found these great group of birds nest fungi, the wood is about the size of your hand. You can see how tiny they are against the moss.

    They look as though a flock of hummingbirds have decided to nest together on the wood. :-D

    No. The spores fill the cups and then the rain falling in the cup splashes them out.
