wowie!!! How beautiful is that bed! That's the image I have in my mind about how I want my beds to look... full of a variety of things. I have to go back and look all over again... and again. It's so beautiful Sherry!
Thank you both...I didn't add the iris that had bloomed and are gone and some of the other things that haven't bloomed yet. I try to have some color in it through the summer. I think this time of the summer is when it is in its full glory. Feel free to look through my photo album now and after a few weeks when the rest of my daylilys will be blooming.
It's obvious that a lot of thought and attention went into your front bed Sherry. Everything looks like it gets along very well together and there is such a nice variety
What a beautiful garden that has become, Sherry. I have to say that since Bob doesn't come around anymore, it really has come into its own. hahaha You know, I didn't realize that you had so many different lilies. They are quite lovely to see. That Lollipop Lily is a stunner. The Gailardia in amongst the yellow-blooming Sedum is an inspired combination, in my opinion. Really nice-looking. I have to say that the overview of the plot that you are showing has a professional look to it. It shows forethought and planning. Chapeau, madam.
Very pretty Sherry. Your garden is exactly the style of garden I love with different colors and foliage ... so much to look at!
Beautiful garden, I love the house too. You have the same Sedum as me, mine did'nt flower last year so I had the best surprise this year. Its still in flower after some weeks. Thanks for sharing your garden Sherry! Violas are my most favorite flower, I had the Johnny Jumps from seed. Violas are little troupers and no mistake, had some for almost a year non stop.
Frank...it was fun having an empty lot when we moved in about 9 years ago....we planted trees before our furniture came. It was fun designing my yard. Thank you. Sjoerd...Bob the llama is drooling from heaven, wishing he could back here. He did send a friend Dog from his house that was baptizing everything in sight.... thank you... Kate...Thank you...I have always wanted a camera lens where I could get the whole house in with not having to stand on our neighbors porch and still be able to tell what I have planted in the flower garden....or maybe a professional helping me out with his camera again, thank you to everyone...Cayuga Morning, cherylad,Donna S and Netty...I love color and I just can't keep myself from buying plants if I am close to a nursery. My husband has just learned to laugh at me, he knows how much I love plants.
