Since Monday night, the snow has fallen, along with temperatures. The novelty is wearing thin. Schools are closed, in fact, most things are closed. Mark is working about 2 hours away, and they have no snow, so he has kept supplies coming in for us. The horrid weathermen are forecasting wintery showers for Essex until the middle of next week.

Other than the fact that you are tired of it and would rather see green....it is beautiful. I will running away in a zig-zag formation in an attempt to miss being hit by the snowballs you are preparing to throw at me. \/\/\/\/\/\/\/ THUMP, you got me.

Looks like you're getting a nice, white blanket.
    A white Christmas for you!

Since I don't have to contend with the cold, the slick, the shoveling, and the snow-bound traffic, I can appreciate your lovely photos! Thank you for sharing them, and reminding me (once again) why we are in Texas!

Ehm... You've got what we'd call a light snowfall, but I can understand that it will be a problem as long as you're not equipped for those conditions.

It is pretty, though, and it looks like the children are enjoying themselves.

It IS pretty, EJ... (just sayin')... Well, at least in years to come you'll have "Remember when" pics of the kids having a ball in the snow.

Your photographs are lovely EJ but forgive me for saying that I've had more than enough of snow. I do like to see the children having fun and those bright berries really stand out against the white. :-D I just want to wake up to something green for a change and be able to get out the front gate.

Beautiful pictures. I miss the snow since I grew up with it, but only for a few days. When I went to Germany in 2004 for Christmas, my fiance showed me a good time being in the snow again. I just loved it. I live in the Houston Texas area, where it is usually warm. Like today it is suppose to be around 76 F. I bet your kids are liking the snow. Maybe a white Christmas for you, and thanks for sharing the pics.

You have my sympathy :'( I have the exact same thing out my window! We need the moisture for the forests and the farmers so I'm trying to be appreciative but I don 't like to be cold & wet :(
