I have some very healthy looking bok choy in the garden and have no idea what to do with it. I have never grown it before. I found a recipe for chicken stir fry that sounds good, but any suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks.

This is our favourite for bok choy
    Ingredients
•1~2 pounds bok choy cleaned, root ends trimmed. You can either cut them into 2inches length, individual leaves or just half the whole plant.
    •2~3 tablespoon vegetable oil.
•2~3 medium garlic cloves, smashed. Use the blade of a knife and press on the garlic real hard and discard the garlic skin.
•1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (from 1/2-inch piece)
•1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes - this is optional
•1 tablespoon soy sauce or Thai fish sauce - this is optional
    •1~2 tablespoon water
•1/4 teaspoon sesame oil - this is optional
    •Salt to taste

    Method
1.In a large frying pan with a lid, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until smoking.
2.Add the garlic and ginger stirring constantly until fragrant making sure that they are not burnt.
3.If you want to add the chili flakes now is the time to add them and immediately add the bok choy. Using a suitable thingie (we use ladle), fold it into the garlic-ginger mixture until coated.
4.You can add the soy sauce or Thai fish sauce at this point if you want and some water, cover and cook until you can see steam coming out.
5.Uncover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the greens are just soft, the stalks are just fork tender but still crisp, and most of the water has evaporated.
6.Turn off the heat, stir in the sesame oil, and season with salt if desired.
7.If there is too much liquid, remove the bok choy and do a reduction.

    Enjoy :)
