They delivered the new washer and dryer today. We got LG brand in the front load model. Didn't get it with steam, but the model just under it. They are High Effeciency with extra large capacity. Man they are so quiet, it's almost unbeivable. It makes a little bit of noise when it first goes into the final spin cycle, but you can only hear it if you are in the same room with it. Now if they will just hold up, we will be really happy with them.Oh yeah, I almost forgot. The washer and the dryer motors have a 10 year warranty on them. The washer is also a direct drive, not a belt driven.
I'm jealous, too! When I fire up the washer, everyone in a mile radius knows I'm doing laundry. If you are in the same room with it, you need earplugs. It cleans clothes fine, perhaps by ultra-sound! Enjoy your nice, new, quiet washer and dryer.
