And I've got photos to prove it. :D

Most of the flowers below are spent now. Some couldn't take the sudden heat, others couldn't take rain, but they were pretty while they lasted:

The late Iris didn't look too bad:

This Corydalys blooms for a very long time, and it's got a lovely scent too:

We've got very small and very tall Campanula:

I had to photograph the mint. It's sooo tiny, and the conclusion is that I love my camera. :D

    The bees are busy:

At the moment our garden isn't looking very good. The rain's not helping.

So many wonderful flowers and, oh, so beautiful!! Most of mine have been flattened by the torrential rain we've been having so it's lovely to see that you've had such variety and colour in your garden. Your post certainly put a smile on my face when I saw it. Many thanks. :-D

eileen, thank you. :D We've had hard rain too, which is why I'm outside all day when it's not raining. :D Some of our blooms have been a sorry sight. The hostas are the only ones that have been doing fairly well. They like the cloudy, wet and rather chilly weather.

Kiasmum, these are Asiatic lilies, and haven't got much scent. The orientals are starting now, and they've got divine scent, but maybe a bit too strong for indoors. :D

My camera is a small pocket camera, a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX9, but it's so much better than my old one who gave up the ghost late last autumn. I got this for Christmas and is still sorting out the functions. I can be so slow sometimes.

Thanks Frank, for thinking that I spoil you. :stew2:

CM, Netty and Donna, thank you very much for liking our blooms. :stew1: I still have hopes for the autumn bloomers. Some are actually very nice. :D

Gorgeous blooms. Glad you're getting the hang of your new camera, because those are some wonderful photos. Naturally, I totally love all the of the lilies! :stew2:

Your garden is another one I drool excessively over....and I forgot to grab a towel before I started enjoying the photos.
Everything was beautiful, hopefully gardening weather next year will be better for all of us.

Thank you very much, Cheryl. :stew2:

Toni, I've found that having a bib close at hand has saved many a keyboard. :D

Thanks Jerry. We've got lots more lilies, but some of them looked so ragged due to the weather. I just didn't want to show them. :(
