    Actually, they, have sprouts. I didn't yell at anyone. Everybody lived.

    Thanks for all the advice and well wishes. Thanks for the offer of seeds. I think I have that covered pretty well. I have seeds I forgot I had in the back of the freezer, so we're good there.

    I think we're gonna try to teach them to do some canning too. New experiences on the way.

    THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR KIND WORDS.

    Congratulations! Well done all around. Where are the photos of the sprouts? Are your trainees nice people?

    FBG, we weren't worried about your trainees surviving, but we were a bit concerned about you!
    Canning? You are the man!:sete_005::sete_005:
    How about freezing? It's easier and less expensive for start-up.
    What do your novice gardeners have sprouting?

    These folks are refugee's from Rwanda. They don't have much, (read a freezer) and right now canning would be simpler for them storage wise. They have 2 kinds of kale, 2 kinds of cabbage and some kohlrabi sprouting. The missus will teach them the canning (pressure), I can teach them water bath stuff. Maybe this year I'll get that solar dehydrator built and put to use, with their help. And Miss Droopy......I'm lucky to know how to turn on the computer, let alone post a photo or two. I will attempt to learn to transfer photo's from my phone to my computer to satisfy some curiosity.

    I'm so glad the experience has turned out so well for you all. Now your teachings can be taught, through your students, to others. Now that's what I call a legacy!!:D
