Last night was Writer's Guild for Madison County. dr and I are both members. They announced Guild Choice Awards in various catagories. In the Opening Reading Catagory (things read in open meetings) dr won 1st place and I won 2nd place. I will post my 2nd place story under a blog. dr's is too long to post here. I won a 2nd place in the Winter Anthology Award. A winter anthology is things written by members about winter and published in a small book. That one was a Boomer Rabbit story. We'll get our framed certificates at the next meeting. The judging is done by outside people in a different county so they are not biased by people knowing us. dooley

A big congratulations to you (and DR). Gosh, now i can say that I know someone famous. Recognition is nice, isn't it, Dooley? So well deserved too. That is such a nice award to win.
