Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! This is the day everyone, Irish or not, is to wear something green. Entering into the spirit of the day, my husband and I are wearing green.
His boots are green to the very tops--he weed-whacked around the chicken coops and barn, and the long wet grass stuck to his boots. His jeans are a little green, too. They started out a nice faded denim blue, but as the day wore on, the blue faded and the green took over. A long soak in the laundry will recover the blue (I hope!).
I am green from the wrists down to my fingertips. Weeding and pulling spent vegetable plants will turn you green, as well as brown!
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone, and may you all turn green, sooner or later!

My grandson was chagrined that I wasn't wearing green. "Where's your gween shirt, Bee? " (He, his sister and his Mama were all wearing green shirts!)

I told him I forgot, at which point that sweet child made me kneel down in front of him so he could take off his St. Patty's day necklace that he was also wearing, and loop it over my neck!
