My son is getting married on November 21st and his bride to be asked if she could use our honey for the weddng favors. Of course I said yes. I think they turned out nicely.
What a cute idea. I would caution to make sure the kiddos don't start eating it without a parents permission just in case they are allergic.
What a lovely way to add to the celebrations of your son's wedding. Those favours have turned out really well.
Wedding favors with flavor! Wonderful, meaningful wedding favors. Your son is lucky to have such an intelligent, inventive wife-to-be.
Mate....that is just the coolest idea! I especially liked the little bee-charms, I guess you'd call them. I give away lots of honey each year and think that they would be nice to use as well. I have never seen those over here in my country. What can you tell me about them? Is there a website that I could go to and read about them? Anyway, as I said that was such a nice thing to do and I think that you made it so nice and the text on the card was cleverly fitting. Chapeau! well done, you.
I was thinking along the same lines as Sjoerd. The entire presentation is lovely, and the thoughtful inclusion of the bee charm makes this a gift that each recipient can keep as a reminder of the happy occasion, even after they have enjoyed the delectable honey.
Thanks for all the kind remarks. Sjoerd - I'm pretty sure this idea came from another wedding that my daughter-in-law visited so I don't believe there is a website out there. She is also a big Pinterest fan though. You can find just about anything there.
Very nice idea...I would love to receive one and such a great remembrance of their special day... Its getting closer now...congratulations
