The white/pink flower is Dianthus...aka Pinks, Sweet William. The one you asked about being Hollyhock is Henbit http://www.ppws.vt.edu/scott/weed_id/lamam.htm It will have small purple flowers. It grows in the late winter, early spring and dies off when the temps get hot. I like it because it adds lots of color to the bare yard at that time of the year so I leave it alone since it doesn't last long every year. The wispy plants to the left of the marigolds in the last picture look like Cosmos, could we see a closer photo of it? I also edited your pictures, you had three duplicates and that can get very confusing when someone is trying to make ID's
I think the first and second pictures are Chickweed. I agree with Dianthus Photo 9 looks like Feverfew. Photo 11 could be Cosmos, but it also reminds me of ragweed.
cosmos yes you are right they are cosmos couldnt recall the name i had alot of them come up this year
thanks fixing my post and the ids . i left a few of the henbit alone but pulled most out. The seemed to be all over my yard. i will take another picture of m cosmos when they flower. . I don't think photo 11 is a cosmo. the last picture has cosmos in it . they are more bushy and stringy i guess id say. pic 11 the leaf looks broader . its the only one of its kind i see in the flower bed as well, all alone. and thanks to all for the other names as well
Number 11 could be Cosmos sulphureus (Sulphur Cosmos, Yellow Cosmos) The Cosmos in the last picture is Cosmos bipinnatus (Garden Cosmos, Mexican Aster)
9 and 11 both look like they could be dahlias. Is it mild enough there for dahlias to overwinter? Different dahlias have different looking leaves, so it is harder to get them fixed in one's mind than some other familiar flowers are.
the leaves do look similar for those as well i had a look at it this morning again . the stalk half way up has little hairs if that helps
