    Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone here knows how to treat a bacterial canker problem on a weeping cherry (snow fountain). Within three days my tree has turned crispy brown. I only noticed the other day that there big hardened amber-colored sap coming from near the top of the trunk, not close to the bottom. I've been looking online for solutions, maybe a way to bring it back, but I have found none. There is new growth appearing below the canker.

Any help would be very appreciated!

    Zach

    Hulloo again :-D
    I found the following HERE

You can find a further steps 4,5 and 6 at the originating site CLICK HERE.

Dunno if any of that helps,
it may be the same info that you had already located.

    Good luck with your tree,
for what it's worth, my ornamental cherry trees have occasionally had cankers appear
but they have always recovered ( so far).
