Yuck! Diets!! Double yuck!!! Anyhow, back in November I joined our local Weight Watchers group as I really want to shed a couple of stone (eek). Anyhow, I have now lost 26Ib which is pretty good, altho it has been slow of late as since Christmas we have actually had a social life for the first time in 10 years which has involved a fair amount of red wine being consumed. So, off to 'WW' tomorrow morning to get on the dreaded scales. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I have lost at least 2Ib this week and after a 6 hour digging stint on the allotment, I am hopeful...... :-?

Good luck at the WW meeting. Empty your pockets, wear sandles and lightweight clothes, no makeup, very little jewelry when you get on the scale...every ounce counts ;)

GGRR! After such a good week, and after loosing 4 pounds according to my scales, I stayed the flipping same! Very cross indeedy! Anyhow, have changed plan for a week so instead of counting points, I can now only have 3 small balanced meals a day with only fruit allowed as snacks. I had keep fit tonight and I am exhausted, plus worked all day shifting topsoil for a client. Why oh why didn't I loose at least 10 Ibs!!!!!! Oh well, better luck next week.

Don't worry about staying the same weight EJ as (knowing you) you've probably put that 2lbs you wanted to lose on in muscle weight with all the hard work you do. Sooooo when do we get to see the new slimline you then? :stew1:

I started WW in February, and have lost about 6 pounds . . . I have been off of it while on vacation, and a conference including rich foods, mixed drinks, and bread last week . . . so I went back on trying to at least drinking my water today, and eating oatmeal for breakfast again. You may want to give it a more time EJ, and like Eileen said, you could be building muscle (which is good!) 26 pounds is excellent!!! A big CONGRATULATIONS to you!!!!! :setc_005:

slimline and Emma don't often fall into the same sentence! The pic I posted in the members gallery was taken this february/march time so is probably the most recent. Still gotta long way to go. Thanks for the support guys. SongofJoy, I have oatmeal for brekky and I love it, especially with stewed fruit stired into it. At the moment I have an abundance of rhubarb on the allotment so I am having that with it daily. yum!

Well, weigh in day tomorrow. Goodness knows. I will post tomorrow evening either joyfully munching on a stick of celery or crying into my choccy bar.
