:-| For the last couple of days I have been pulling the grass out of our strawberry patch. We have several types; crab,a fine grass and orchard grass.
What is really strange is that a lot of the orchard grass clumps are chewed into small pieces and put in what looks like a small circle say 2"in.by 2"in. They look like little animal beds.
When I found the first little chewed up clumps I didn't think much of it. But I've found at least 8 other clumps that have been chewed in little short pieces, and put in piles in a small circle.
Anyone have any ideas? Mice, voles, space aliens? They even chew the Strawberry plants in small pieces if they are close to the Orchard grass clumps. They aren't eating, they just leave them in little piles. Go figure.[/b]
