My wife saw this bloomimng this morning. It normally blooms in late April or early May. It has never bloomed in the fall before. Let alone on the 19th of Nov. Normally it is a very dark blue color!
If I was trying to bloom in the weather you have been having I would probably be just that same lovely shade of 'icy blue'
Such a delicate little flower to be showing its face at this time of year. Every time I see something like this it leaves me in awe of what nature can achieve.
It's so delicate! I hope it will manage to stay in bloom for a couple of weeks. Talk about late bloomer.
They are saying we could get some snow Thur. or Fri. if we do I'll try to get a pic of it with snow around it. I think that would make an interesting pic.
