This morning on the weather report, they said a chance of frost for Thurs. morning. Very early for a frost for here. I am going to get the chimney and the wood burner ready to use today.

Yup, here too. Hated to get out of bed this morning and out from underneath my nice, warm quilt. We've got the wood hauled but haven't cleaned the chimney yet, but that first fire in the fireplace may be tonight!

Temperatures are meant to drop right down here too. Thankfully though no frost is predicted yet. I must get all my delicate plants into the greenhouse soon before the weather chamges for the worst.

I definitely am not ready for winter and the colder weather. I got that virus that is going around and it has put me way behind on things. I just didn't feel like going outside in the high winds either... We usually get some Indian summer weather so I am hoping it comes soon so I can clean up my flower beds.

Well I got the chimney cleaned out and the stove cleaned out. The wood box is full so I am ready. We have small electric space heaters in each room to take the morning chill off. They all have thermostats so they come on and off on there own. We usually use those in the fall and spring. We save the wood stove for when we need heat for all day. Bring it on, I am ready!!!!

Oh, man, I have got to move north
Upper 80's here, which is much cooler than the 95 we had on Sunday. It did get down to 59 last night. ;)

We have rain today so that makes it feel cooler than it is. It was 88 yesterday. It is in 60's this morning. I'm not ready for cooler weather yet. I still have too much to do. I really need to clean out flower beds and plant winter stuff. dooley

I just came in from mulching leaves with the mower. I am on a coffee break. The thermometer says 53 but it feels like 40 with the wind out of the northwest.

The weather here was nasty today too...windy, wet and cold. I stacked the winters firewood last weekend and had the oil tank filled. We are ready. But that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it! :D

Everyone up north is not ready for the cooler/cold weather. On the other hand, Toni and I are ready! You never want what you have and always want what you don't have! :D :D I say bring it on!

I am not ready for cold weather but I never am. Fall is my favorite season and it is much to short, We have unhooked the outdoor hoses and put them away. That is the extent of our outdoor preparations. wannabe
