Don't know what this is, a friend gave us a start. It does well in the mostly shade area under a tree.

One of my day lilly beds. This is the best they have ever bloomed.

Recycled Hosta, my MIL had some 6 or 8 years ago that she wanted to get rid of. We have several chairs and benchs down there and is a cool place to set on a hot day.

These Hosta are the same and are across the driveway from the others. Makes this area look like a park.

Capt. I like that first pict. Nice bright yellow flowers with the background of green leaves. Also Don't think I've ever seen that kind of plant before, It seems differant. Does it multiply each year? Love your hostas along the driveway, very nice.

Oh, I am green with envy! :stew2:

Love you Hostas and I really like your woodsy setting with all the mature trees. One day if I win the lottery, *keeping my fingers crossed* I would like to live in my own little forest. No lawns, just lush plant growth under a canopy of trees.

    I forgot to post this:

Your plant with the yellow flowers looks like a variegated yellow loosestrife.

Gosh, it looks so peaceful and inviting and yes, like a park. How nice it must be to sit on your chairs and enjoy the shade. Bet there are lots of birds to sing to you too.

Very nice plants, Capt'n. I agree with you that that spot does indeed look like a park. Lovely flowers as well.
