Went to Brent and Becky's Bulbs today. I got a $100.00 gift certificate for Christmas to Brent and Becky's. I had a great time there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The store is beautiful, a little pricey on whatnots. Anyway I came home with a lot of new plants and bulbs and still have money left over that I will use in the fall. I bought crocosmiiflora, hot lips salvia, canna stuttgart, white bleeding heart, pink muhly grass, pennisetum fireworks grass, mojito, 2 dahlias Jennifer's wedding & Lupin white, Lily forever Susan and I have an order in for Lycoris red spider lily. It was raining so pic's are not good.
You still have money left over? Gosh if I had been shopping I'd probably have to have added money to the amount of the gift certificate as I can't resist buying plants.
Donna, you are a shopping fiend! All that for under $100--you must have had a great day! You will love the "hot lips salvia". Great plant, and very attractive to hummingbirds. Whoever gave you that gift certificate deserves a tour of your garden!
It sounds like you should be set for a while. I have ordered from them but I didn't check them out this spring. I would have bought my Hot Lips Salvia, a real hummingbird and the clearwing hummingbird moth attraction from them . I purchased it and they cost me 80 some dollars for 8 plants from Burpees...I have never bought from them before but I can't find the salvia around my area so I thought I would try them. Next year I will go to Brent and Becky's. Thank you for the information. It is hard trying to find some plants and you just never know how they will look when they are delivered.

Potted up all my newbies. Can't wait to get them in the ground. They are all really nice healthy plants. I'm putting most of them in wire baskets before going in to the ground and hoping the voles leave them alone. I really don't want to feed them my gifts.
