This morning on the local news they said that April was the wettest on record for central Ohio. We had 7.13 inches of rain. The average is about 3 inches.

With all that rain going into the river systems, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers are thinking of blowing up a levee along the Mississippi River to prevent flooding in Cairo, Illinois.

I haven't heard a total for Ontario yet, but I think it will be a record too!

We broke a record, too. But, it's the exact opposite of yours. No rain! Just a trace in April. We are supposed to get rain this afternoon and tonight but looking at the weather map it will go north and east of us...again.
