I moved a clump of these (from where they have been growing for ages) to the daylily bed last year. And I've been watching this bud for a couple of days. I guess all the sunshine today convinced it to open up. wild daffodil ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden )
I looked at last year's photos... and this one was two days earlier than last. Maybe that's a good sign for lots of blooms this year? :-D
