I collect snowmen, sheep, roosters,Violet(tea cups, saucers),birdhouses, and wind chimes. I have collected sheep since 1983 when a dear friend gave me one, when I was going through a difficult time. He added two more and today I have a total of about two-hundred. Sheep are so hard to find, that when I see one I buy it! Fortunately or unfortunately for my checkbook, I discovered several years ago that The Country House (also loves sheep) and have a wonderful assortment of them. Roosters, about 75, Violet items...32, birdhouses (sold a bunch recently) about 43 left and 15 wind chimes. I love and treasure all my goodies!
I collect "purple". For instance; the things sitting around my desk: 4 little purple bears, purple lamp, purple phone, purple markers, purple pens. I like purple blankets, purple flowers of all kinds, purple candles, purple jewelry. I guess I just like purple.
One of the more unusual things we collect is skulls. They are mounted on the mantel and on the wall. So far we have beaver, racoon, goat, deer, sea turtle, cow, horse, possum, coyote and great blue heron. All these were found as bones. They are very white and beautiful. 8) We have a lot of turtle shells also.
I love purple anything but mostly my collection is of miniture anything.I love miniture tea sets also small cups and saucers.I like southwest items anything Indian. You would think I collect owls as they are everywhere but they were my moms collection.I also have lots of angels.
Plants, plants, plants (but you already knew that.), and "interesting artifacts" (doesn't that sound nicer than "junk"? ) to display amongst all of my plants, plants, plants. :-? Most of my other collections are "inactive" - meaning, what I have, I gathered years ago, and though I do still love it all, I no longer seek to add to what I already have . . . but, if a great deal presents itself, well, wha'cha gonna do?? To name a few, I have accumulated jadite kitchenware, depression glassware, and "antique" silver-plated flatware. I have roosters and hens displayed in the kitchen, and plenty of frogs scattered hither and yon.
I collect old bottles, gardening books, stamps, and lately there seems to be quite an assortment of frogs around here! And of course my biggest collection would have to be plants
Petunia... don't know how I could have failed to mention my purple fetish! When I worked my office was known as 'The Purple Office'. I had purple desk pad, stapler, push-pins, staple puller, tape dispenser, note pads and note pad holder, radio. People thought I was crazy :!: Thought I would grow tired of purple, but my bedroom is painted lavender, have purple throw pillows, clock, fan, phone, flowers, throw rug, purple in the bathroom, lots of clothes in purple, shoes, jewelry, etc. Good thing I live alone... another person might object to all the purple. Oh and last but not least... all purple flowers!
Things just seem to accumulate around here. Every time I stop and look something new has been added. You all know about the bears. Now, turtles and gnomes seem to have joined the group. I have garden books, cookbooks and assorted other books. dr has Chinese porcelain, Navajo carpets, pottery and other assorted items. Mostly whatever strikes our fancy when we go to yard sales. Some things, like bears, manage to stay and others go after awhile of enjoying them. The organ has gone and a dropfront desk has taken it's place. He says I can keep it if I want it. He traded for it yesterday. Oh, we have old coffee and tea tins from when we had a coffee and spice business before we retired. But, I guess it's the bears that take up the most space and that started as an accident when our oldest son make us a pair for Christmas. He made my largest bear, too. dooley
I collect bells.tiny bells, big bells, specialty bells, any bell. I am looking for an old school bell that I can afford. I guess lots of people collect them. My son brought me a bell from Ireland and it didn't get broke.I have miscellaneous knick knacks also. I guess I collect anything that gathers dust. Wannabe
Oh, I was going to ask you, wannabe, if you still collected bells. I picked up some for you at a yard sale. Five tiny brass ones. The biggest is about 1 1/2 inches and the smallest only about 1/2 an inch. I, also, have a Grand Canyon bell ornament that was mom's if you want it. dooley

I used to collect political buttons (sold 'em all at a garage sale a few years back) - I have a collection of novelty whistles in a big rosewood box under my bed... should probably sell those too. Also a collection of Fisher-Price little people, the old kind both wood and plastic. I have all of them - the circu ringmaster, the little dude with a pot on his head, the dentist... heh... I've quite an assortment of Liddle Kiddles from the 60s too. I have more Lord of the Rings stuff that you could possibly fathom - also collect miniature churches.
I collect jewelry! I just love it, can never have too much! My boyfriend collects RC (radio controlled) cars. He's pretty into them, has been since he was a kid. He buys all the parts and custom builds them, upgrades them, the whole nine yards.
