The yellowing looks like chlorosis.. meaning they are lacking the ability to use iron out of the soil and your Ph may be way off. the wood chips/mulch may be sucking all the nitrogen from the soil to continue the decomposition process.

This is a much better explanation than I can give you. It is a difficult issue to deal with. Give them time and sometimes they grow out of it, but I have found that pinching out the chlorotic part helps the plant to recover.

the Basil looks like it got hit with either too cold or a fungus. I am afraid you may need to start over with it. But, first pinch off all the wilted leaves at the bottoms of the stems If it is moist do not water it. until the soil dries out some. It does not like to have "soggy" roots. do you see any dark spots on the stems? if so you probably have a fungal issue and will struggle all Summer, so plan on replacing it.

I think the cukes look normal and that is transplant stress.

Carolyn I posted on another of your post about using Hydrogen Peroxide as a fungus killer. I found a really great website that tells of all the good things Hydrogen Peroxide does for plants. They have a chart to tell you how much Peroxide to use mixed with water. Go to www.using-hydrogen-peroxide.com
They also suggest to use in in the soil to kill fungus there also. WOW I will be needing to get more and us it more on my veggies.

Some mulch is acidic and can change the soil ph when water is leached through it. Take the mulch off and let the roots get some air. Might put a little compost in its place and work it into the soil. They should look better in a few days. You can pinch off any really bad leaves. Strawberries will lose leaves naturally so expect that,, but they will also put out runners with new strawberry plants.

Nicole, I'm glad you found the solution. It's heartbreaking when our efforts fail. I'm hoping it's all uphill now.:fingerscrossed:
