There are so many out there to choose from, but it seems as though everyone has a favorite or two. Or at least a current favorite. I don't yet have much experience with gardening, but my favorite flowers thus far are roses. They have a simplistic beauty about them. What are some of your favorites?
My latest passion is Hostas, but Heuchera are sailing up qiuckly. I like the leaves which gives a good show through the whole growing season. I am also very fond of lilies, because they come in so many different shapes and colours, and flower for a very long time. My Marthagons start in june, and the oriental ones are still flowering. In spring I am most fond of my Crocus. In summer, I like whatever is blooming. In autumn I love everything that blooms late and last until the frost.
I love to see the first snowdrops in February and the crocus in March along with daffodils, iris and tulips. Throughout the year I just love to see anything and everything in flower so I can't really pick a favourite. I do love my lilies though and my lavender.
Oh dear - where shall I start. I love lavender and rosemary, I love gazanias - the way the open up to the sun every morning simply makes my day. :-D I love palm trees - even though I only have a potted palm. Oh HEck - I LOVE them all...
I think Petunias are my favorite and I usually have several varieties every year. I like hibiscus and roses also. Wanabe
Plant of the Year here in my yard has been cestrum nocturnum for 4 years running. It is in it's last heavy bloom of the year right now. It has a super sweet fragrance that comes in waves at night. We bring it in for vases and set it in the windowsill for SWEET dreams.
Favourite flowers I like fresias most of all because of their delicate appearance and choice of colours but particularly because of their perfume. I also like roses and snowdrops. Amongst wildflowers I particularly like poppies
My favorites are columbines,hydrangeas and morning glories....there are so many more but it would take all day to list them all. lol!!

I LOVE geraniums!! Especially deep red ones. They are my favorite annual. For perennials you can't beat daylilies I adore peonies and lilacs because they remind me of my grandma. Deanna :-D
