What do Einstein and SETI have in common?

    They are both using my computer.
    Einstein @Home is using my computer's idle time to search for spinning neutron stars (also called pulsars).
    And SETI@Home
    is using it to sort thru information they have gathered over the years.

    Check it out and see if this is something you want to do, I think it is really exciting.

    Einstein@Home installs a really cool screensaver on your computer too that kicks in when they are using it.

    I have dabbled in these programs also Toni, really great to know you can contribute tangibly to something great. I have used Boinc which allows you to run SETI, Einstein and other similar projects too if you have the CPU to spare.
