Autumn / Fall time is upon us and one might say that the photographic opportunities dip as a result (wouldn't agree with that though :)). So in early anticipation of next year what do you hope to be taking photos of in and around your garden?

I will be taking fotos of the flowers (old and new)and progress in the veggie garden.
I shall also keep an eye out for the various insects, birds and mammels that I will come in contact with.

I especially like to see how the new flowers and veg sorts that I plant for the first time next season will do...and I then will want to make a photographic record of it all.

I hope to be taking pictures of our little young orchard in bloom. The grasshoppers chewed it up this year, denuding the branches of leaves, then starting in on the branches. However, when mowing yesterday we saw new leaves starting, so there is hope!
Also hope to photograph the new rose bushes my husband is giving me (but he doesn't know about that yet).

As you can guess from the photos I have posted, I love to photograph the flowers, butterflies, birds and wildlife that visit my garden. :D Next year I plan to add plants and shrubs that will attract more visitors to my garden. There is always something fun to photograph through out the year. :setc_080:

If all goes according to plan, I'll be photographing all of my plants being transferred from pots to the ground at the "family home"... and their progress.

Even though there is no autumn here, I really do want to get my mini-farm fully cultivated with no idle beds. Wish I can do it by next year if not within this year and have it imortalized in pixels :D

A better prepared veggie garden ready for planting by next March.
A grape arbor out front, the vine I have is mainly for the grape vine eating Moth caterpillars and it is in dire need of more space. Plus I have some Mustang grape seeds I hope will germinate and intertwine with the other grape vine to eventually cover the arbor.

Hey, If I am going to dream I may as well dream BIG

Well, if I look back at this year I've photographed way too little, so next year I hope to document the growing season better. I also hope to show a photo of the finished bamboo water feature spirit frightener in a tub project my husband's working on. We've only been planning it for something like eight years. :D

I had big plans this time last year to make a few new beds, but my ongoing back pain kept that from happening. I hope to have them built and blooming for next year now that my back is allowing me to do some heavier work again. Also an improved veggie garden :)

I will be taking more photos of all the shrubs in my landscape that I've planted in the past 3 years. It's fun to see their growth and document it.
I also like to take photos of flowers as they bloom!

I have plenty of bird photos, but always need bugs and insects that will be my first choice. Insects.
