This morning it was a bit cloudy so when I stepped out on the back deck and saw these clouds I went and got the camera. It was pretty bright so the pictures don't do them justice. I thought they looked like fat fingers. The first five rolls from the wire looked almost like a hand. They are gone now. I have seen some of similar shape lately. They are Mammatus Clouds, http://www.weather.com/sports-rec/sky-w ... s-20130227 They can be round, oblong, bumpy, etc.
They do look just like fat fingers Dooley. So glad you managed to capture them with your camera and share them with us. :-D
I very seldom notice the clouds unless they are really different. I just went out to see if it was too cloudy to work outside. But, no rain so I did a lot of stuff outside. Now, I'm down one more. dooley
