I planted a few rose of sharon bushes about 3 years ago. last summer they got a few flowers, but they have not grown much. Can someone tell me what I can put on them to help them grow and flower more? Thanks. When I got them they were only little sticks, now they are about 3-4 feet tall, but seem to be staying that height. Rose of Sharon Hi Richie, Seems like it took mine forever, 4 or 5 years to really take off. Every year a pitiful little stick with leaves came up, a bloom here and there, and suddenly one year they turned into what I had in mind in the first place.

My rose of sharon really took off this year and had a lot of blooms...now I am wondering if I should move it and trim it if it gets too large for the corner of the house?????I think I will leave it and check out the website to see when I should or if I can trim it..
