I planted tomatoes. Someone gave me some very good advice. Going to tie tomato plants to the rafters. I have the lines up already. When I'm done I will have 16 tomato plants in the cage. And a loaded shot gun just outside encase the squirrels find a way in. If they get in they are not getting out alive. What looks like black plastic is bio-degradable mulch. Thanks for the advice Carolyn. Planted my tomatoes. ( photo / image / picture from Donna S's Garden ) :-D :-D :-D
We've just planted up some tomatoes but they don't have anything as great to grow in. The best I can offer mine is a big pot each in the greenhouse.
Donna, that is so darned efficient and lovely! If you don't get a bumper crop of tomatoes, it surely won't be your fault. (I've heard there is a lovely Hunter's Stew made with squirrel, tomatoes, and onions ).
Well Donna, I am truly impressed. great job! I will be very shocked if you don't get a bumper crop of tomatoes. It won't be from lack of effort, that is for sure.
Your garden is beautiful. I think you are well protected from all those critters who will compete for your food.
What you have there is exactly what I want/NEED here. Now if I could just talk my hubby into building it for me. If I try...I'll probably end up in the hospital! Seriously! Lol! It looks great!
