This table/stand is from my best friend since childhood. ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) I haven't decided if I want to use it as a plant stand or a small table out under the shade tree. Guess it'll make up it's mind for me one day. And my boss was tossing out this little "duck". So naturally I claimed it. And my gift to myself... some Hens & Chicks to go in it. I got some other things, but these are my favorite... well... besides the money a co-worker gave me which I promptly spent on an order of Calla Lilies.
Nice birthday haul. That table will be great under the tree, comfy chair next too it and a nice cold or warm adult beverage sitting on it.

If ANYONE deserved nice birthday presents, it's you, Cheryl! So happy you got a duck, table, and lilies. Kinda makes you want to have more than one birthday a year, doesn't it?
Now why don't I get lovely gifts like that? I think I'll start dropping hints as my birthday is in December. Who knows the family might actually listen to me this year.

Thank you everyone. Yes is it very well built my friend's daughter had to help carry it. Maybe Santa Claus will bring a couple of chairs to go with it. :-D
Oh baby! And it had a cute little handy dandy shelf underneath the top. Oh man, the gadgets I could think of putting on that.....or even a low light plant.....Very neat. Couldn't have got a better birthday present. Barb in Pa.
