I want to get some more bunches of Daffodils out to bloom in the spring. Can I put those out now or should I wait until November when there is not a chance of warmer weather messing with them?

I agree that planting them now for a good show in the spring is the ideal time of year.

Sometimes I think I plant them too early but I hate digging in the hard ground. I have never had them start to come up so I must be doing it right. Also I don't want to take the chance of them rotting in the bag if I buy them too early..our Wisconsin weather is so unpredictable, now this week we have had some 5-60* weather after numerous frosts and freezing.

I have planted daffodil bulbs in September. Some people have clay soil. If there is a lot of autumn rain, clay soil takes a long time to dry out.

Plant them whenever you have them. When it is time to bloom, they will.
