Bought it for 25 cents. Thought it was pretty and forgot to ask what to plant in it. There's holes threw out the hole pot. Good thing a saucer came with it :D

Hey Gizmo, that's a great find :-D it's what I know as a "berry bowl".

They're made like a colander with a saucer so that you can store and serve
fresh berries without concern about them puddling in their own juices,
and the saucer keeps your tablecloth from getting stained, too.

Click Here to see one similar to yours.

That one is pretty, I'd have happily paid $10 or more for it. :smt023

Wow! You did get a good buy and it's so pretty, too. You could still put a plant in it but I'd be tempted to use it for berries. dooley

What a really pretty little pot and saucer Gizmo. :-D I like the combination of blue and yellow flowers together - very fresh looking. How I wish I could find things like that.

Not sure what it was orginally intended for, but it would make a great orchid pot - big with plenty of holes for aeration.

    Nice pot!

Thats great for 25 cents! I thought an orchid would do well in that too.
I have got to check the thrift store at the church out tomorrow.
