This was a gift to me but it came with no tag.

Of course it is the leaves with the white inside and green border.

    Thanks!

It looks almost like "Fire and Ice" but I don't think it is. I'm sure Droopy will know :D

Such a gorgeous little hosta too! :D

It's rather small, right? And the white is very broad. I haven't got one that looks like that at all actually. Ours have more narrow white middles and are larger.

There are several small hostas it could be, like "Cascades" or "Peanut" for instance.

If it's supposed to become rather big, it could be "Fire and Ice" as Netty said, or "Dancing in the Rain". That one has a very wide, white center.

Some tiny ones that have creamy yellow centers here with me are shown as pure white elsewhere. Like "Remember Me" and "Cherry Berry", but that one's got red stems.

You'll probably know a bit more in a couple of years' time when it's mature and you have followed it through the season to see how the white develops.

It was planted last July and evidently the bachelor's buttons decided to explode this year so I thought it may have stayed small because of a possible root war going on underground. I'd say it was about 7" wide as a rough estimate but I'd have to measure it myself.

I'll google the names you suggested and see if that narrows it down.

I'll be moving it to another flowerbed where it will have room to spread out then go from there. I have a lemon lime hosta that is super tiny and right now it's being covered by the hollyhocks  Once the hollyhocks are done I'll move it as well.

Thanks so much for the suggestions!

For now I'm going to assume that this is a fire and ice variety and see how more it grows.

Thanks for helping me with my query!

I realize this is very old but I wonder if anyone would know what this Hosta is? I really really love this and do want one.

It may be Hosta 'White Christmas' but every place that carries it is out of stock.
