Thank goodness you've got that warm coat Glenda as it certainly looks a tad chilly!! Snow ice cream - I've never heard of that before. I hope you don't get any more snow after all the hard work Heather's put in clearing it.

Can't believe my eyes! :-o See it wasn't so bad after all! Snow ice cream, I love it and remember when I was 6, my mother went out and got some snow and made the ice cream. It was delicious. Haven't had any since though. :( That shovel is as big as Heather! :D Did the boys play in the snow? Hoping it melts and you have good weather the rest of your visit. Love ya, Gaylyn

    Snow Ice Cream
    1 gallon snow
    1 cup white sugar
    1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups milk ,its better tasting
    with regular condensed or evaporated.
You can used sweetened condensed milk but add stir and be sure to stir well after adding each time.

I get my snow with a large spoon off the top of the car.

    DIRECTIONS
When it starts to snow, place a large, clean bowl outside to collect the flakes. When full, stir in sugar and vanilla to taste, then stir in just enough milk for the desired consistency. Serve at once.

For one minute I thought heather was cutting the grass!! :)

Lovely looking snuggly coat you have on, and it looks like it's a good job you have it, it looks mighty chilly there.

As for snow icecream, I have never heard of that, a plan for next winter me thinks.

I think so too, EJ. Please, Glenda, put it in the Recipes forum so I can find it come winter.

ah snow, I think Montana must be pushing it towards Michigan. (I knew we weren't done with it yet) We're suppose to get rain and sleet-mix snow.
Oh well, we usually have snow on Easter anyway.
