The last few years our weather has gone from late Winter to mid Summer during the month of March so my plants haven't had time to grow, fill out, put out lots of buds and bloom a long time and repeatedly.
But this Spring has been just about perfect...not nearly enough rain less than 3 inches for the year so far...but the cool temps with some warm here and there, my flowers are putting on a display like never before.

Not nearly as many blooms from all the plants but it is so pretty and smells great too.

I love this Clematis, it's been growing up that windmill for 4-5 years now and the blooms seem to be getting larger every year.

I cut this Crossvine down to the ground in the fall of 2012, it was just too unruly. It didn't bloom last Spring but it's making up for lost time this Spring. But not a Hummingbird has been to visit. :(

I am hoping the Iris seller is at the 37 mile garage sale this weekend, I want more of this one.

I planted 36 of these around the front two gardens and in the back. Almost all of them are blooming now.

This climbing rose is about to be covered with beautiful clusters.

I have never gotten so many blooms on this Salvia before.

I love the combination of chartreuse leaves and purple flowers.

These Petunias are one of my favorites, I decided to forgo the solid but beautiful bright purple ones this year.

Toni, did your petunia come with a tag? just wondering what it was if there was one. I saw one that looked very similar from Burpee's in a catalog, I thought it was called cha-ching cherry, but they were only selling them as plants. At 5.95 a piece I thought...NO WAY! most of their catalog is like highway robbery. I can't afford most of their prices. But I really liked that petunia.

All the tag ID them as was Petunia. Petunias are cultivated so easily, a grower will sell them under the generic name instead of going to the trouble of naming. I have found so many of them in stores one year but they never show up anywhere again.

So happy Spring is being nice to you and your garden.
My Dutch Irises didn't bloom this year. I wonder if when I thinned out the other purple iris if I replanted them too deep or something? Anyhow... my mom's old purple irises are full of buds but none have opened yet.
My Clematis came back (yippee) and is just now forming buds. So looks like I'm a few weeks behind you.
I'm hoping my blooms will be just as pretty as yours!
