Still a few things blooming. They aren't "en masse"... but just a few flowers per plant.
Except for the Blue Plumbago that has been really done well. If only I could find a plant like this that bloomed red!

And the Butterfly Ginger is hanging in there. With every bucket of water it gets, another batch of flowers appear.

There's only a couple of Canna blooms left. I'm pretty sure they are almost done.

The Creeping Charlie has done well again and has had those cute little pale purple flowers for a couple of weeks.

    And they have freckles too!

The Fuzzy Wandering Jew has also held it's own and has a few blooms still popping up.

I bought this Bouganvillea off the mark-down rack last fall. It's along the fence down the driveway and hasn't gotten super taken care of (yes... I'm ashamed) but it's done better than I expected considering the shape it was in when I got it.

And what a lovely color too!

This may be my last Mandevilla Alice Du Pont bloom to show. I do love it's color and faint sweet aroma. But it's not supposed to be hardy in zone 9A and it's a tad expensive to buy every year. Time well tell though.

I have a couple of beds with Mexican Petunias. They have been multiplying and have been putting on more blooms since the cooler temps.

I thought the Milkweed was finished a few months ago. But with cooler temps, it's acting like it's Springtime.

This Portulaca was planted in the Spring of 2010. Surprisingly, it popped up again now. Weird... but welcomed.

And my old faithful Rooster Comb finally filled out. It did a lot better last year, but no complaints as it's bright & deep color really stands out.

This is the first year I've grown the Rose Glorybower. Wasn't exactly sure of how to take care of it, so I left it in a container. Now that I know what it likes (and that it blooms more than once like I was told) I 'll be putting in the ground next year.

And then the Salvia I had in the "tipsy" pots have amazed me. They have stayed in bloom since Spring! They are definitely on my must have list for next year.

And last... but not least... my Mum. I'd forgotten that I had it. It was tucked away when we moved and I just have been keeping it watered and wondering what the heck it was. Then... it started blooming and I remembered... It was a birthday gift last year from an old neighbor.

You do have some lovely blooms still showing off in your garden. I grow the Salvia you've shown and it has now been flowering for two years. I just love the colours! Fabulous Ginger too!

Wow, what gorgeous color. I miss my Plumbago, it stopped blooming early last month.

I have a few of the same as you that are still holding their own but for the most part things are coming to a seasonal end for me.

Toni... Yep, things are winding down here too. That's why I took photos... probably will be the last. Unless there's some surprises.
How did your Creeping Charlie do?

IT's ALIVE !!! I really thought I had lost it last winter I forgot to protect it when we got the ice/snow. Then two hail storms beat the beejeebers out of it. Then the heat and drought sent almost everything else in the shade garden packing but it is still hanging in there. No blooms but maybe next year.

I was going to ask if it will take some sun at all. It has been in complete shade and doing great but maybe some sun for blooms?

    Hi Mom!!

Awwww... my grandplant is looking good! :-D
Mine is in mostly sun with dappled shade and as you can tell... it's doing well there. I'm thinking of putting some in the ground next spring to see how it does.

Lovely colours. :D I think I need to move to somewhere warmer when I get older.
