Even though we planted late, it seems vege are growing and we should have plenty of tomatoes.

What an amazing greenhouse you have Petunias! I love it! :stew2:

The only other time I have seen veggies growing like that is at the Epcot Center when I visited Disney this last spring. What amazes me the most is how the plants look like they are only growing in sand, like yours do.

    What do you feed them?
What kind of soil do you use?
How did you know how to grow them like that?

I am full of questions because I would like to grow my veggies inside a protected area too.

Thanks for the coments. I can't wait till atleast the toms ripen then we can have those BLTs and may even be able to can a few jars too.
Chelsea, All by trial and error. A few years ago we did good on the toms and we canned quite alot. Now last year, we didn't get hardly anything. This year it looks to be good again. I've also have taken the advice of a few stew helpers on here and have rototilled in rabbit manuer in with the sand. I have given my toms some epsom salts to hold their flower and produce fruit and once a week I also fertilize them. This morning I went around each plant, weeded and shook them to pollenate them. Everything this year seems to be working. However, our corn is tossling but doesn't seem to getting any corn on them, not sure what thats all about. Thanks for the comments, I'll be happy to answer any more questions if you have any.

I'm still awestruck by all that growing space you've got there. The plants seem to love it, and no wonder either, with all the love and care they're getting. :D

Many thanks for the comments. Tomatoes seem to be coming on like gangbusters. Should be a good year for them.

So jealous of your large polytunnel greenhouse. I would LOVE one on my allotment to grow my toms and cucumbers, peppers and melons in. And it is so neat and tidy and well organised. yum, those first ripe toms are always the best.
