Hey everyone, I'm from the beautiful Caribbean Isle of St Lucia but is currently living in Barbados. I'm pretty new to gardening and I'm really excited about it. I'm hoping to get a lot of advice and help here. It can be a bit difficult finding advice on growing stuff in tropical weather but I'm sure you'll be able to help. I have a small plot which i want to get ready for some plants that are just starting to grow. YAY...I'm so excited. It's really nice to be here!
A warm welcome to you from cold, wintry mid-Norway. I probably grow your garden plants in my window sill. There are lots of people from warmer zones here, so I'm sure you'll find someone to discuss your tropical topics with.

Thanks everyone, I really do feel welcomed! This morning I woke up to find a frog burrowing in my dahlia and frangipani...so frustrating!! I'll check out to see if I get some solution for those buggers! Have a great day, and thanks again!
Hi from cold and rainy Washington! Wow, a burrowing frog? All we have here are tiny little tree frogs, a very welcome garden visitor. Hope you find a solution for them!
Hi from North Carolina . . . welcome. I am sure you are at the right place . . . we have members from all over, and they have been so nice.
Welcome islandgirl. I'm new here myself but everyone has already made me feel so at home. I'm in Southern Maine so we have different plants here then you might have but I'm sure there are some here who'll be able to help you. Everyone is from everywhere and they all seem very knowledgeable. Have fun!
