    What's wiggling?

Yesterday I moved a pile of bricks from one place to another and this is what I found underneath! A whole crowd of worms! I hope they will be very happy in my new composter.

What nice specimens--The composter is just the place for them.
I always take worms that I come across during my work and place them in my composters too.

A garden with lots of worms is a healthy garden and yours certainly has quite a few good specimens. I add them to my compost bins too Daisy - that's if our resident robin doesn't get to them first.

What was really neat was that they were kind of sluggish and cold at first but then as they warmed up in my hands, they got very active. I'm fascinated by worms, have been since I was very small.

Nice worms! :D The ones I find when I'm digging around I put in my borders or the veggie patches.
