When do hummingbirds come back in Spring?

Does anyone know when the hummingbirds come back for the spring?I cant hardly wait , I love their little ways of flittering around. I want to be ready.

I see www.hummingbirds.net has not started the 2009 map yet. I would think they will get it up soon.

 

I was going to send you that link to Hummingbirds.net too Margie. It is a wonderful site and has a migration map so you can get a good idea of where they are.
I know they usually don't get here until the Lilac's bloom in May.

 

I like that site to show you how fast the hummingbirds are sited in your area..I have added my sitings to it through the years...
