When I made the paths.

    This was a couple of years ago when I made the paths. I brought home all the stones from various outings in to the mountains etc. Now of course the moss has appeared and the plants are a lot different.

    Very nice! Do you have a current photo of that area? Or is that one of your "un-tidy" spots?

    This is the area today. You can see where I have started to clean out the moss, that is a slow job. We also have a really sloping garden so I have to tier it like on the mountain sides, use loads of large rocks etc. On the right on the second picture there is a pond

    I really like the way the paths look now and wouldn't even mind the moss. They don't detract from the planting but seem to 'belong.' Yours is just the kind of garden I could wander through and enjoy.

    I love the paths and pond. The moss gives it a sense of permanency. You do have to clean it though I've found, otherwise the weeds start to grow in it when it gets too thick...darn.

    I think it looks awesome. But I do have a question... with moss on the paths, does it become slippery to walk on?
