Okay i know i posted on another thread that we still had snow,,,,,,we did! honest! But holy canolli's what happened? We never had spring and it's straight into summer. Well okay it feels like it.

While out raking the yard and sweeping the drive ways, cleaning out planters and just getting ready in general for spring, i glanced at the thermometer and could not believe my eyes,,,,,,,,it read 37C. For those of you not familar,,38C is 100F degrees. 10C is 50F degrees. Granted that was what it read in the sun. In the shade is another matter,,lol,,still hot but not as hot. Soooooo. Welcome Summer!!

Heres what our national weather says it is here right now in the area i live in.

    They lied.

My location is at the bottom of the list and says Nøtterøy.

Our weather forecasters have been wrong many times in the past but never off on the temp by 50f/27c

Hopefully the heat spell will come to an end before you are a puddle on the ground.
I am hoping the 90's will hold off for us until at least late May, I have way too much left to do outside.

I'm enjoying our (would you believe it) sunshine too Biita. We don't have temperatures as high as yours but 13°C will do me just fine. I'm hoping the warm weather lasts for at least a few days more as I have sooo much to do outside.

Yesterday we had a low of 34 F and I had to cover up my Bleeding Heart against the frost. In the afternoon it got up to 67 and I mowed the yard. All in about 10 hours!

The temps seem out of whack everywhere. My tender Spring blooms melted last week when it was 95F. Other things are off their timing. Strange. It's perfect today -- about 72F (23C).

    Oh my...That's something.
I don't like it when the weather flops from one extreem into the other one. I like it when the change is gradual. hahaha.
The thought of 30° now would really irritate me no end. Hahaha.

Today it seems we are back to normal. Only 12C out,,,whewwww,,talk about panic. I was not ready for super hot weather no way. It got so cold last night we had to put the heat on, and over Oslo in our online news they were able to take a photo of the aurora borealis! (Nordlys) lol,,,geeez,,,

    Take a look

There should be lots of Aurora Borealis now but of course we've had cloudy evenings. :(
