Gosh you can almost visualize dinosaurs roaming around in those photographs!! What an amazing but strangely alien landscape.
My eldest son would love to dig up fossilized relics from the dinosaur era. He's on an archaeological dig at the moment on the Isle of Skye. He managed to find a wild boar tusk from the bronze age but somehow it just doesn't compare does it?

That area is very obviously shaped by the forces of nature. Any insight into the smoothness of the landscape Kildale? Thanks for posting.

Hi Frank, this is a bit of info about the badlands that may answer your question Badlands Drumheller.

Eileen, it is an amazing area. Pleased that your son is into it. Must be fun.

Amazing...and strangely bizarre. Could definately imagine weird creatures roaming around...to be honest, in some of them, I could quite easily imagine aliens strolling around! Fab shots Kildale.
