She's fine Glenda but extremely busy at the moment (the children are on school holidays) and recovering from her hernia op. She's also been away on holiday in France for a couple of weeks. I'm sure she'll be back among us again soon. :-D

Oh you lot. I'm sorry I have been away for so long. The op went well, but I was really suprised how it knocked the wind out of my sails. It was the first operation I have ever had and the hernia was a lot bigger than the surgeon was expecting. They had to cut through more muscle to tidy the damage up, and nerves, so now I have a lot of numbness. This should improve a little over time. The drugs in my bloodstream seemed to take an age to leave me alone and I was sleepy and pathetic for several weeks. Then as Eileen said, we went of to France for a couple of weeks. Had the most glorious holiday and I really felt a lot better having all that rest and relaxation. Did lots of swimming also to help with the mending tummy muscles. And finally, yes, the kids are off school, still only one more week to go and then they are back and I can start to get back to normal. It has been a long slog, and I am really behind with so much stuff. I owe seeds to people, the allotment resembles a jungle, people are delivering fruit to me almost daily which I am having to make into jam, chutneys, freeze, etc. The garden is a mess and I am trying, when the kids let me, to reclaim that, and all the time I am supposed to still be taking it easy!

I have loads of photos, I shall sort them out and do some postings.

Thanks for thinking of me guys.
