This is not right, just not right!

Last year this time it was snowing. Today's temperature is predicted to be in the mid-50's and by the weekend it's supposed to climb to 68! And the extended forecast puts us in the mid 50's for Christmas day.

What is up with THAT??? That is just so WRONG for the season! :smt018

It's all here in southern Ontario! You can have it back, and the cold temperatures too!

Ronni, you can have mine, too. although to be fair it is supposed to warm up this weekend, but rain is fore casted everyday and night until Sunday. Blah! wet, sloppy and yucky.

Welcome to my usual holiday weather. Kind of hard to appreciate a new sweater or coat when the temperature on the day is between 60-80 degrees as happens on many a winter holiday down here.

I could do with some of the white stuff here for Christmas day. It just doesn't feel right, at this time of year, to have gale force winds and torrential rain. :(

I used to live in California so I'm no stranger to mild weather over the Christmas season.

Before that I was in Australia, which is VERY different....the seasons are completely reversed there, and I spent more than one Christmas at the beach in 100 degree temps! The whole concept of "white christmas" was completely alien to me back then.

I've just become spoiled living in the South. ;)

There is more of your Christmas snow falling here this morning Ronni. It's starting to pile up kind of high too. The only plus side is that all this shoveling and carrying firewood is good exercise. Right now the thought of Christmas in Australia sounds very appealing!

    Will you look at this!!!!!

My forecast for the next several days. Rainy true, but look at those temps! Where's my winter? Where's my snow? Apparently Netty and Carolyn stole it!

    Give it back! :smt089

Hopefully the higher temps will equate to better driving conditions and less accidents. That is a gift!
